We started with Corgis from the other side of the world. Thanks to

Diane Dickinson of Dwynella, we started with a top dog who already had 27 CCs in New Zealand. Marty (now International,American, Canadian, New Zealand , Argentine Champion Dwynella Look My Way, CGC, TDI ) had barely landed in the US when we took him to Canada for his title there. He did not disappoint us, although that stuff on the table was a bit of a change! He finished in the Group where he belongs.

Marty's  wins include finishing at the first specialty in Florida, and taking the Breed over his friend Taz at the Mayflower Specialty. He ended up with a Group first that Day.

We thoroughly enjoyed all the time that AmCan Ch Merthyr And So It Is spent here while he got his majors and 14 of his points. It was a joy to co-own him.

Marty has had fun in agility, but we didn't like the fact he was gone so often with that sport. We let him go to Argentina for a few weeks and two weekends of shows, a trip arranged by our good friend Karin Bronsted.   Marty went to the HUGE Buenos Aires shows that attract top dogs from many countries. He took two Group Firsts and two Group seconds, finished his International and Argentine Championships and earned four of the five CACLABS(all that were available) for his Latin American title. Marty has been our little agility surprise , and we hated to take time out for the breed ring. The opportunity for the  Buenos Aires International shows was too much of a temptation. We are quite glad we did it. line6.gif (917 bytes)

One of the most recent of our activities other than all of Alexis' ongoing wins is to start showing Darrowbys Thunder Down Under. He is currently with his co-owner/co-breeder Candy Kramer in Kansas where he has picked up both majors in a month. Way to go, Thunder, and thank you Candy! Candy is showing  and has pointed Thunder's sister Lacey, and we plan to start showing his sister Carlin this fall. Forget the fact he will finish soon--Thunder finished the first weekend in November, and the next day Lacey beat him by taking the breed after a four point major. Way to go everyone!!!

Thunder started his show career with boot camp and a nice win with Lee Hulett in Tennessee, where he had great fun with Lee, and playing with the Marty son Crash that rules the Hulett roost. Thanks to Lee for all the training. This boy is likely to grow Golden hair--Thunder is certain he is a Golden Retriever and insists on kissing all he meets, human and canine.

THUNDER

Other Darrowby activities had our young McCoy (Ch Darrowby Law and Order) trying his wings in Canada in August of 2000. He came back with flying colours after three weeks, four puppy Group Firsts and a Best Puppy In Show!
Candy Kramer graciously offered to take McCoy out for us in the US--he quickly finished his US title with four majors.

Many thanks to Candy, who is always busy finishing her own champions, and will soon be showing McCoy's brother, Darrowby  Rumpole of the Bailey and her co-owned Darrowby's Detailed Decision who make their home at Marnac.

We went to Canada in July of 2002 to get the last point on McCoy-Sallie breeder-pwner handled him to that finish. On that trip we also put five point on Cargo(Darrowby U.S.Cargo Embargo.) He did that with a Group IV handled by Dennis, and three Best of Breed awards.

AND ANOTHER TITLE!!!

WE CAN'T KEEP UP!!!

Alexis went to Brazil in September of 2002, and took a Group 3, Group 2, and Group One and is now a Brazilian Champion as well. We can't thank the Hafners enough for all they have done with this girl. We keep being astounded--tune in for the next installment!!!!!!!
Our newest import, Alexis (International, Latin American, Americas and the Carribe, Peruvian, Argentine, Brazilian, Uruguay and Canadian Can Ch Khartoum Cut Above,( imp NZ) was brought to us by Diane Dickinson. She was shared by her breeders, the Duncans. Alexis had a CC at age four and a half months in New Zealand. She went to Canada and came home with a title in three weeks--plus three Puppy Group first awards, and two Group #3 placements. Watch for this darling--she was two old in  March of 2002. We love her attitude, and wait, there's news!!!!
NEWS!! FEBRUARY 27, 2002--A NEW CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Her list of titles goes on and on.  The Elthoms and their two handlers have done wonders with this showgirl. Watch for her show record as she works on her Argentine Grand Champion. She is becoming a legend in South America.. Please join us in congratulating Alexis, her breeders in New Zealand, Diane Dickinson, her cirrent handlers and co-owners. Thank you, Thomas and Eli!
