Ainsleygold Darrowby Uluru
aka
"Oolala"

Oolala grew up to be quite the lovely
young lady. She is exactly what this baby picture promised. She has a lovely solid body
with a wonderful shoulder layback, a correct, large but feminine head, a beautiful topline
and a solid rear with correct angulation. She moves like a dream and she can keep going at
the smooth gait for hours. Her pigment is incredible-we could do without the black
toenails! She is taking time for a litter late this fall with One Ash Darrowby Mind
Reader (Iggy) before she hits the show ring. Her brother and sister in Australia are
doing very well, and her brother Innes in Ohio is now an OFA excellent. normal elbows,
CERF and cardiac clear. Meanwhile, she is playing with Arf and Cessna since she doen't
know how to knot puppy booties.

Oolala in 2002 wishing you HAPPY HOLIDAYS
This was our big surprise for the year 2002. An email from Blackpool Goldens in Canada alerted us the existence of a litter of Australian Goldens born in Connecticut. We got to meet two delightful Aussies, worth the effort even if there was no puppy to be had. We visited, and were able to get the pick girl. After stumbling through a variety of names which all seemed to have slang meanings related to bad manners or some such, we named this delicate hunk after the Australian monolith and landmark, Ayres Rock.

The Aborigine name is Uluru. Of course our puppy is OoLaLa.
See the resemblance to the rock?

And Oolala's siblings that were in Connecticut , and have returned to Australia!

and watch for lots more information and pictures soon!
Oolala has developed a real liking for English mysteries on the tube. At four months of
age, she would lie on her back for a tummy rub through all of Poirot, Morse or whatever
she could get. She also tolerates Nero Wolfe quite well. I think she likes Archie myself!!
