GILSON

When our down-under Australian girl, Goldbyrne Knickerbocker, was bred to our Canadian Ch Darrowby's RSierra High Flier, we combined  Knickers and our High Flier and had a litter of high end undies. Carine Gilson became Canine Gilson in this house, hence our silly Gilly, now a gorgeous 3 year old with all of her clearances. Gilly is  OFA good, normal elbows, CERF clear, cardiac clear, Ichthyosis clear. Both parents are clear normal for GR PRA1 and PRCD-the newest DNA tests for the two types of PRA that can be checked in Goldens. Check Gilly's pedigree.

Gilly is a very heavy coated, heavy boned girl with a classic English head and gorgeous black pigment. Her sire is our Can Ch Darrowby RSierra High Flier (Cessna), who brings both performance dogs and wonderful old English stock into the pedigree. Cessna is doing well as he approaches age 14, still active, swimming, and happily sleeping underfoot on the bedroom each night. His mother was well over 16 when we lost her, swimming until the day before we lost her. Gilly's mother is our beautiful Knickers with old time English behind her Australian roots. This young girl has a pedigree with dogs that are in the 9th and 10th generations of most contemporary Goldens in her immediate background.

Gilson will be having her first pups with a winter litter in 2011 or early 2012. We are accepting reservations for these pups who should be lovely cream English style Goldens with beautiful coats and heads, along with Gilly's mellow and eager to please temperament.
