Cargo
Darrowby's U.S. Cargo Embargo is the son of our
wonderful Wag that we co-own with Candy Cramer. Cargo was a slow starter and a sleepy
baby. He was called Cargo as in escargot! Now he is such a livewire it is hard to believe.
Maybe it was that southern weather affecting him!
Buddy and Becky DuBose had this fellow and when they decided to take a Corgi break, we
were fortumate enough to get him at Darrowby. We had real trouble getting him TO Darrowby
in the combined heat and the aftermath of 9-11, but eventually travel worked out. His new
name was earned during our attempts to get him to New York.
Cargo is a pretty boy, and took a Group placement in a weekend in Canada in summer of 2002. Dennis showed him to a Group IV from the classes. What fun. Thank you Buddy and Becky!
Cargo headed far South in 2003. We owe a great debt of gratitude to the Hafners(Thomas and
ELizabeth) as well as Deborah Desencio, the wonderful handler who put so many titles on
Cargo. Cargo also brought back a lovely legacy of Argentine dances--puppies he sired
with Argentine and Uruguay Ch Darrowby's Laptop. Watch for news of these in the future
