UCI International Champion Hypagardens Delicious Coconut

New title in December, 2009! Thank you, co-owner Cheri Lundgreen for showing Flinga to his UCI title. Here is what the judges had to say...

Powerful, active sporting dog; excellent breed quality and a nice representative of the breed.  Correct coat with good color, good condition and texture.  Broad,  masculine head that fits the dog well.   Eyes are well set, dark and expressive.  Good ear set and placement.   Good depth of chest, developed, very nice rib spring.  Masculine and strong front angulation.  Nice tight feet.  Well angled hocks and good rear angulation. Topline is correct, level and firm.  Tail is well set with good feathering and is correct and curved.  Nice movement, free and smooth, clean coming and going with a nice go round."

Cream colored Flinga puppies available this spring at Darrowby.

What do you call a dog who is from the Delicious litter in Sweden?

Camilla Erdman, our super friend at Hypagardens sent us this delightful, Delicious pup. When he was named Hypagardens Delicious Coconut. Snowflake Coconut came to mind for this young man. Since his mother is Hawaiian, and Hawaii is not best known for their snow, the Swedish word for Snowflake, or Snoflinga won.  Hence Flinga got his own name and it has been snowing on our mountaintop ever since!

All grown up, or on his way, he now has his very own OFA excellent with normal elbows, clear eyes and heart. We have gone from this

Flinga could not be a sweeter, more responsive and eager to please dog. His best buddies are Vanna and Buzz. He loves all people and dogs. He cavorts in the meadows and pond just like Nelson and reminds us more of him all the time.

Flinga isn't sure what the goats are all about yet, but thinks he might like to know more!

He is producing lovely, balanced , heavy boned and coated pups with loads of pigment. They all seem quite self confident and extremely biddable. see Flinga's puppies!

Thank you Camilla!

Flinga  spent a warm winter a couple of years ago with Cheri Lundgreen at DesDia Goldens. He  miss his buddies there, but had a great time playing with all of the Lundgreen children. Cheri now co-owns a promising Flinga son. While there he sired a litter of  future service dogs puppies. We get updates on those occasionally, and hear what sweet and delightful puppies they are. Nice to know all those apples are right under the tree.

Flinga is home in New York for good and available at stud to approved bitches.

Flinga is 24 1'2" and weighs 83 pounds.
For correct type, a fabulous athletic dog with super temperaments, great pigment, correct coat
and a lovely sculptured head, he is hard to beat.
His clearances are as exceptional as they come
